What happens if I have more email contacts than my tariff allows?
Your monthly tariff determines how many contacts you can have within your ekmResponse account.
As you add contacts into groups, they contribute to the total number of contacts your account contains.
If your account reaches the limit of contacts allowed then you will no longer be able to add contacts manually into your contacts. Any signups via your website or subscribe forms will continue to be allowed but will be placed in the ‘Extra Subscribers’ group where they will stay until older contacts are deleted or you upgrade your ekmResponse tier.
Contacts in the Extra Subscribers group cannot be added to campaigns.
Contacts can be moved from the Extra Subscribers group when your account is below the contact limit. Contacts moved from the Extra Subscribers group go straight into the Ungrouped contacts group.
Contacts can be deleted completely from the Extra Subscribers group if desired.
You can only delete contacts if they have not been sent a campaign in the current calendar month.
You can upgrade and downgrade your tariff at any time from within your ekmResponse account.
