[intro] There is an issue currently with the Photo Editor, located within the Add/Edit Product window on the EKM online shop platform. This Guide explains the issues and suggests alternatives which can be used in the meantime. [/intro]
It has been brought to our attention that there is an issue with the Photo Editor which is located within the Add/Edit Product window on the EKM online shop platform:
The Photo Editor is launched when Edit Image is selected in the drop-down menu however, this action is causing the page to freeze:
This issue is caused by the use of a third-party platform to supply the code required to run the Photo Editor, which has effectively been ‘turned-off’ by the third-party. It is possible for us to repair this functionality, but please bear in mind it is no quick fix as the replacement code will need to be configured and styled to work with the EKM online shop platform.
In the meantime, there are alternatives available. You can rotate images on your own computer by right-clicking them and selecting 'rotate left' or 'rotate right' and if you're using a PC, the application Paint which comes installed as standard will allow you to rotate, edit and resize images too. Free platforms such as Canva and Pixlr will allow you to edit and resize Product images before they are uploaded on the EKM online shop platform.
